Ethiopian Yirgacheffe
The Yirgacheffe coffees tend to be more delicate in taste than its wild earthy cousin, the Harrar. The washed Yirgacheffe produces a smooth, floral-tea like cup, with superb aroma.
On a medium full city roast, this coffee denotes a light body, medium-high acidity with subtle hints of a spicy apricot and a floral citrus in the aftertaste. Bring out the best of this coffee with a French press preparation. This lot is produced by the Oromia Coffee Farmers Co-op which was formed in 1999.
